Tung Choi Street (通菜街), Hong Kong. 2013.
I based this sketch on a photo by Hong Kong Thru My Eyes that I saw. I haven’t been to Hong Kong for a while and when I was tasked to draw Hong Kong Street, all I can think of its dim sum. 😋 Hong Kong Street is a challenge to sketch as there are so many lines crossing over. Took longer than usual but completed it on a rainy Saturday.
Options are good. Or are they? When there is no option available, it sounds limiting. Here we are looking at Jesus’ claim that He is the only way, truth and life, and no one goes to the Father but through Him. Not sure about you, when there’s too many options, decision is hard. When I can’t solve it, I just wish that there’s someone wise enough to tell me what to do, or even better, do it for me. 😅 I think until we come to this juncture in life, might be a little hard to accept the only Way.
