The Lone Casuarina Tree Art Print
I love this pretty tree in Upper Seletar Reservoir. Decided to use dots, lotsa them to draw the leaves as I wanted a very light feel as compared to the trunk.
This casuarina tree is often called the lone tree as there’s no other trees near it, making photos composition really pretty against the reservoir lake of water. This tree although alone, is not lonely at all. It is surrounded by many other different company around, like the water, people and different animals.
This tree reminded me of Psalm 1:3:
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
– Psalm 1:3
Makes me reflect if I have planted myself by the water so that I won’t be dry but prosperous.
